I'm sorry, but the 2024 round of the 3x3 Design Challenge has ended!
My 3x3 Design Challenge gives you the excitement of joining an art challenge (in a more manageable timeframe) with design briefs using timeless themes. That combo allows you to create at your own pace designing art that is easier to pitch to companies.

I've been doing the 3x3 challenge since the very first one. The prompts are so good, always leave me feeling inspired to create, and make my portfolio very well rounded. It is by far my favorite challenge to participate in!
It inspired me to finish a full collection that I licensed to Raspberry Creek Fabrics' CLUB line. Seeing complete strangers sharing the Christmas pajamas they sewed their children with my designs is a special kind of magic.
The holiday work I made for it was noticed by Lilla Rogers and I was offered representation. And that same work caught the attention of Sunny & Ted who commissioned me to create a party paper collection celebrating all shades of Santa.
They've helped me a lot in building my portfolio. And recently, I've started manufacturing sarees using a design from the challenge — it was a custom order and I'm pretty thrilled about it.
I shared a number of Christmas designs on Instagram, including a challenge design. Cloud9 Fabrics noticed it and licensed it for their latest Christmas collection. It’s been really special to see my name on the selvedge.
After participating in round 2 of the 3x3 challenge, one of my challenge designs was licensed as a greeting card with Trader Joe's.
