At Sketch Design Repeat, we firmly believe that there’s a lack of information about what a realistic career in surface design looks like and the purpose of this survey is to gain insights about the current state of the industry and help us better understand how to improve the lives of working artists.
You’ve been invited to take part in this survey by someone directly, received an email with a link to the survey, or have seen the survey promoted on social media.
By taking this survey, you agree that you are 18 or older. Taking part in this survey is optional and you will be asked to answer questions about who you are, your work in surface design & art licensing, and related aspects such as income. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Only complete answers that have answered all required questions will be used in the survey. The information collected will be used to share a results overview that will be made publicly available on Sketch Design Repeat’s website & social media accounts. A more detailed report will be created and made available to all survey participants, as well as anyone who opts into our email list to receive it. All data presented will remain completely anonymous.
You may choose to provide an email address in order to be sent the detailed survey report and be contacted occasionally with survey updates. It will never be associated with any of the information you provide in the survey. You can also opt into the Sketch Design Repeat email list. It is not required and will not affect your ability to receive the detailed survey report.
Finally, you will be asked to choose a charity for Shannon, the owner of Sketch Design Repeat, who will personally donate $2 on your behalf (up to a total of $2,000 between charities) as well as the ability to opt out if you prefer not to choose a charity. Your choice of charity will remain completely anonymous and will not be included in the survey results.
